find a simple market shops and at 2 km bar and
restaurants..

it is a perfect starting point for trips to
other interesting towns along the breathtaking
panoramic road above the coast: Ravello (7 km),
Positano (15 km), Sorrento (35 km),. The sea
is about 3 km and can be reached also by pubblic
means.
From Amalfi itself there are boat and hydrofoil
connections to the marvellous islands Capri
(30 minutes) and Ischia ( 60 minutes) and to
Sorrento coast but also the archeological sites
of Pompei (30 km) Salerno (30 km) Paestum (
60 km) as well as Naples (60km) with its museums
and its characteristic centre are worth a visit.
