Apartment "Attico 2"

Casa Attico 1 and 2 are two identical , completely
independent apartments located on the same floor
of the building . The two apartments can be
rented either separately or together for a larger
group of up to eight guests.
The apartments occupy the third and top floor
of an ancient palace ( there is no elevator
) dating back to the 12th century, whose entrance
is located in an old and tiny square right in
the heart of the historical centre of Amalfi,
only 50 meters away from the sea and the beach.
Access to the apartments is up an internal flight
of stairs , 74 steps long (two minutes walk)
.
The privilege of these apartments is that they
enjoy a wonderfully convenient and central location
, as well as being very quiet and peaceful.
Fine food shops and a variety of coffee bars
and restaurants are just outside the door. Within
a few minutes walk away are most of Amalfi's
main attractions , as well as the sea side promenade
, the tourist port to board ferries to reach
Positano, Capri, Sorrento, Ischia, Naples, Salerno
, and the bus station for the SITA buses that
connect all the villages along the Amalfi coast.
Both accommodations are fully air conditioned
and have the open-plan living/dining room/kitchen
and a complete bathroom at the entrance level.
Two bedrooms and a guest WC are on the upper
level of the apartments. The rooms on this level
have sloping ceilings with the maximum height
of 2.30 meters.
The interiors have been recently refurbished
throughout to provide comfortable accommodation.
The rooms are simply, yet tastefully decorated
and furnished with nice and modern furniture.
A car is not necessary in order to stay at Casa
Attico . The town offers great bus and taxi
services. But if you have a car, it is possible
to reserve a parking space in a private garage
, roughly 800 meters away from the house, to
be confirmed on time of booking.
The major attractions , shops and restaurants
of central Amalfi are within few minutes walk
. Regular bus service operates from the nearby
Flavio Gioia square to the other towns in the
region. Ravello 5 Km, Scala 5 Km, Sorrento 35
Km, Salerno 27 Km, Positano 22 Km, Naples airport
60 Km, Rome Fiumicino 320Km Ferries and hydrofoil
ply daily from Amalfi to Capri (1½ h.), Positano
(20 min.), Naples ( 2 h.) Sorrento ( 1 ½ h)
Ischia (2½ h) and Salerno (1 h.) The services
operate only during the spinning Summer.

Entrance
is directly into the open -plan kitchen area
with four-burner gas stove with electric oven,
fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. On
the right side of this room is a bathroom with
shower , WC, wash basin and washing machine.
The living area is furnished with a dining table
seating 4 people, a 2 seater sofa , two armchairs
and TV.
The living area has also two French doors opening
onto standing balconies which overlook the little
square below and the red roofs of the city hall
of Amalfi , with the sea in the distance.
From this level, a short flight of stairs (
14 steps) leads to the upper floor with a guest
WC with a sink and toilet and the two bedrooms.
One of the bedrooms has a double bed and skylight,
the other one has two single beds. Please note
the twin bedroom has no door but has a door
communicating with the double bedroom.
