"Casa Marie" is situated in the heart of Amalfi, only 400mt from Piazza Duomo, famous all over the world for the imposing cathedral dedicated to the Apostle St. Andrew. The recently renovated apartment is located on the second floor of an old monastery which is also of historical /archaelogical interest. The apartment is well-furnished, there is a living-room with double sofa bed, fitted kitchen with microwave and fridge, bathroom with Jacuzzi shower, double bedroom and a well-equipped terrace with table, chairs and electric awning. From the terrace you can admire the sea, the bell tower of the famous cathedral of St Andrea and the surrounding mountains with the famous Valle Dei Mulini.
Guests can use the parking spaces in the private garage with drop-off and collection of vehicles at any time; please inform the keyholder well in advance if you are interested in a parking space; EUR 18 per day . The beach is approx 500 m away, reached on foot by a pedestrian path through the centre of Amalfi. Shops and supermarket 100 m, restaurant 100 m. Sandy beach 1 km, pebble beach 1 km.
In a short time you can get from Amalfi to many characteristic towns and interesting archeological sites of the area: Positano 15 km, Praiano 8 km., Ravello 5 km, Sorrento 30 km (connected by one of Europe's most breathtaking roads), Pompei, Ercolano and Naples 60 km, and also the islands of Capri and Ischia.
