Suite Villa Giusy is a romantic apartment of
about 50 square meters (538 square feet) located
in the very heart of the historical centre of
Amalfi, just a few steps from the Cathedral
and from its famous square. The sea and the
beach are within walking distance, only a few
minutes away. The suite has one double bedroom
and a large living room with sofa bed (available
for two). It sleeps four people. The property
is very lovely: the living room has a delicious
windows with a view on the famous main square
(Piazza Duomo). It has been completely restored
and renewed in 2003. Villa Giusy is a typical
Amalfitan house, happy and pleasant: the floor
is made of fabulous hand-painted majolica (green,
decorated with painted flowers). The ceilings
are high and with characteristic barrel vaults.
The living room is furnished with antique family
furniture (armchairs, sofa - bed and dining
table). From the living room you can access
through a sliding door to the bedroom. The bedroom
has a double bed Italian that is approximately
63/65 inches wide, narrower than an American
king-size, but wider than a queen-size bed.
In the bedroom there are also, guardrobe, and
a delicious ensuite bathroom with shower , decorated
with flowered ceramics majolica. From the living
room you will also be able to enter the kitchen,
furnished in complete way with new and functional
equipment: one large fridge with freezer, 4-burner
stove, oven, hood fan. The apartment has a washing
machine, dishwashing-machine and an iron. Suite
Giusy is part of an ancient and elegant palace,
owned by one of the historical families of Amalfi.
The apartment is on the second floor. It can
be reached entering a courtyard and a stair
beneath the Cathedral (there is no elevator).
From the main square of Amalfi (Piazza Duomo
famous all over the world for the imposing Cathedral)
you will get to the building through a typical
narrow pedestrian lane long about 30 meters
(32 yards). Stores, restaurants and meeting
points are well within reach. In Amalfi there
are beaches in the centre of the village, which
can be reached by foot from the Suite Giusy.
From the docks you can board small boats that
will take you in beautiful beaches that can
only be reached from the sea. These little beaches
are as romantic as the Amalfi Coast can get.
The sea is beautiful, and for those who plan
on spending a full day at the beach some of
them even have restaurants or bars. Suite Villa
Giusy is also just five minutes from Piazza
Flavio Gioia, where the buses that travel along
the Amalfi Coast can be boarded (you can easily
reach the other villages of the coast, as well
as Pompeii, Paestum, Naples and Salerno). Nearby
you can also board the ferries that connect
Amalfi to Positano, Capri, and Salerno. Cruises
of the coast are also available. The show of
the Amalfi Coast seen from the sea is something
that you can't miss. This property is indeed
a great place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. You
will be able to shop for fashion and handmade
goods; enjoy the local happenings of cultural,
musical and artistic interest that take place
throughout the year. If you like night life,
you can choose among several exclusive nightclubs
and piano bars. The apartment is furnished of
air conditioning.

by cars. It is about 100 meters (120 yards)
from the sea. The apartment has been completely
restored in 2003. It is on the second floor
of an elegant and historical building (there
is no elevator). The bedroom has a double bed
Italian. taht is approximately 63/65 inches
wide, narrower than an American king-size, but
wider than a queen-size bed. The sitting dining
room has a sofa bed (available for two), Color
TV and window . The bathroom has a shower. The
apartment is furnished of air conditioning.
