"Casa Berna" is a panoramic studio- apartment located high above Amalfi on a terraced hillside. This apartment has terrific views of the sea and of one of the most picturesque towns in the world. Guests can enjoy the view from their own private terrace, shaded by a classic pergola, and surrounded by the sweet scent of myriad flowers. The terrace is well furnished and is perfect for leisurely breakfasts, long lunches and relaxing dinners. The apartment has a double bedroom and a sofa -bed and is ideal for two adults or a couple with a child. From the apartment there are 70 steps down to the road where it is also possible to park your car.. We highly recommend that you do not take your car to go to Amalfi as it is only 3 kilometres away. There is a bus stop just a few metres from the bottom of the apartment steps. Bus services are frequent and cheap. There is a supermarket 5 minutes away from the apartment.
Accommodation:
At the top of the steps there is an iron gate and a panoramic terrace which leads to the front door of the apartment.
Once inside there is an open plan, sitting/dining room (colour TV.) with a door leading out to the terrace.
The living room has direct access to a small but well equipped kitchen with 3 gas ring hob ,fridge-freezer and a dishwasher.
There is one double bedroom with a king size bed and a second single bed which is stored under the former.
The bathroom, beautifully tiled, has a shower and a washing machine. All the rooms have central heating. There is a final charge of 30 euros payable locally.
