Thank you being our hosts, for this last week in Amalfi.
The beautiful apartments of "La Mansarda" were very comfortable and clean and whilst situated in the upper part of the town, they offer great views of the town, ocean and the valley.
The genuine kindness and help that you, as the owners, gave us ensured our stay was as pleasurable as possible.
Whether it was directions, a nice restaurant or what to see, you were only too pleased to help.
Every morning we were greeted with coffee and biscuit/cake and of course a big Italian smile.
Thank you very much for that.
The seven days that we spent in Amalfi were made even better, by having such nice accommodation to come back to each night and of course you, the friendly hosts.
I will certainly recommend to any one visiting Amalfi, that they contact you and stay at your apartments.

We are sad to be back in Ireland after having a lovely relaxing holiday on the Amalfi Coast.It is raining here so we miss the lovely sun there.
I would recomment " App. L'Ulivo" as it has a wonderful view of the sea and is a beautiful house. We loved the garden with its tomatoes, figs and honey bees. The honey in the press we tried and it was gorgeous.

Dear Mrs. Fortunata,

We are back for only two weeks now and still we are missing the lovely open vistas of the ocean at Amalfi and the great hospitality of out hosts at Villa Mare Blu!
After having come face to face with all the stairs (!) we were blessed with meeting lovely Rita who owns the Villa Mare Blue and made us fall completely in love with your Amalfi.
The accommodation was lovely and the view breathtaking! In the evenings we would sit on the terrace and watch the moon come up over the see as the fishermen steer their little boats out for the evening catch. We would watch how dusk settles over the port of Amalfi down below and see the lights starting to sparkle across the coastline that seems to be visible all the way to Sardinia!
Then to be graciously greeted with Rita’s fresh produce from the garden: tomatoes, figs, lemons etc etc.
It was truly a magical experience and the hospitality at Villa Mare Blue in particular Rita, made it all the more special.
We thank you for the support you have provided and hope to one day return to Villa Mare Blue with it’s lovely ocean views, colorful flower pots and cool and quite relaxation.

It is so cheerful with all the porches off every room and the living room decor is beautiful.

Carol and I want to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay in Ravello. The house was perfect - even better than what we expected! Please let the owners know how much we liked it, and how much we appreciate the kind and thoughtful gifts they left for us. Everything was delicious - the olive oil, honey, lettuce, wine, fruit.................. Very, very wonderful.

We decided to leave on Saturday after realizing how long it would take to drive to the airport. With such an early flight, it seemed easier to take a hotel room in Naples for Saturday night.

I just wanted to thank you again for meeting us on the night of our arrival in Amalfi and for being so helpful, and again to apologise for being so late arriving. I trust all was in good order following our departure.
We had a safe trip to the airport and arrived in good time for our flight, although I am sure that (once again!) I did not quite take the most direct route to the airport once in Naples!
We did enjoy our week on the Amalfi Coast very much, Ravello especially was a delight. We were very comfortable in the apartment and loved having breakfast on the terrace surrounded by the lovely views. We very much hope to return at some time in the future and would certainly consider one of your properties again, and hope to maybe meet you again.

Dear Mrs Fortunata,

Our holiday in Italy and Amalfi (Marinella (IC7745) for 12 October 2005 - 22 October 2005 ). We spent an unforgettable week in the charming town of Amalfi in October 2005. We were 3 adults and 4 children, and luckily we found the loveliest apartment you can imagine. The apartment is located right in the centre of the town, so all the shops and restaurants are close.
It was perfect for a stay with children: there is little traffic allowed in the main street, the beach is a short walking distance from the apartment, and the huge private roof terrace was safely fenced.
It was relaxing to enjoy our dinner and a glass of wine on the terrace at night with the marvellous view of the sea , the mountains and the Duomo.
All along the Amalfi coast parking is a bit of a problem, but fortunately there is a parking "garage" up the main street. Amalfi is a good base for exploring the beautiful coast and the unique historical sites of the area.

Our stay in Amalfi was among the best we have had.

Not only was Fortunata at Amalfi Accommodations our contact for a fantastic apartment, she also was our guide to the best of Amalfi.
We stayed in the La Duchessa apartment which was all the web site said and more. It was large and airy with plenty of room for our family of four with the two kids having the upstairs loft bedroom.
But the HUGE private patio was the best feature of the apartment. After a day of swimming or site-seeing, we would return to the apartment and spend the evening hours outside on the patio.
Overlooking the central part of the town and the towering mountains, we enjoyed the view while sipping the local wine and eating scrumptious food purchased from the shops lining the main avenue.
Fortunata was most helpful in making sure we enjoyed the best of the local culture. She arrange for parking for our car and had suggestions on local restaurants and outings.
Also, we happened to be in town for the Feast Day of St. Andrew, Fortunata explained it all to us so enjoyed the procession and fireworks even more from our patio vantage point. I can't recommend the La Duchessa Apartment enough if you are going to be in Amalfi.

We hope you had a good Easter. We had a wonderful holiday - thank you very much. We found the `Marinella' very well equipped, with everything for cooking, living and comfort. The terrace is wonderful and the apartment was very comfortable and good.
Your service for booking, taxi and everything was very fast, professional, helpful and friendly - an excellent service! We really appreciated your help with the dentist and your great kindness.

We've arrived home from our Italian vacation.
We have wonderful pictures and memories of our stay on the Amalfi Coast, and specifically were very happy we chose to stay in Amalfi. If for nothing else than the fantastic swimming beaches right in town.
The studio apartment was in a great location and was very clean. It had everything we needed, and the 143 steps helped to keep the wonderful local food from adding to our waistlines. Thank you again,Arrivederci
