Villa La Marchesa is situated about 900 meters from the town centre of Amalfi ,( also well connected by frequent public buses), in a unique situation for its convenience and position compared to most of the other houses in the area. Most people are aware that the Amalfi Coast, besides being one of the most beautiful places in the world, both for its landscape and for the many attractions that it offers, can prove difficult when it comes to moving around by car and for parking . However villa La Marchesa, although it lies on the edge of Amalfi, has the convenience of car park and direct access to the water, but it is 350 steps (about) from the sea level. The villa was built in the early 1930 supposed to be the nicest house of the coast for its owner the Princess of Bagnoli and her Prince. This villa hosted Roberto Rossellini and his family and other famous characters. Recently renovated is recommended for anyone who wants a nice quiet holiday even through you are in the best known and popular part of the Amalfi Coast. The villa is about 60 steps under the road level over the sea. The nearest beach is "S. Croce" at five minutes walking away or boat service, and Positano, Sorrento and all other villages on the Amalfi Coast can be reached in not more than 30 minutes by car.


Accomodation:
The villa can accommodate 8 persons in its 4 bedrooms, each one with private bathroom and terrace. Possibility to accommodate 2 extra persons at Euro 100 per persons per week. It has a large living-dining area a simple but equipped kitchen, a covered patio with a superb views over the sea , and on the town.
