Maya Blu and Casa Maya Arancio are two identical
, completely independent apartments located
on the same floor of a building.
The two apartments can be rented either separately
or together for a larger group of up to ten
guests.
Casa Maya Blu is an independent accommodation
of approximately 40 square meters (430 square
feet), with a terrace of approximately 30 square
meters (322 square feet), with a splendid view
of the sea.
It can sleep up to 4 persons and it is equipped
with air conditioning. It is located in Praiano,
a well-known tourist spot of the Amalfi Coast.
It is close to the main road and to the pedestrian
access to the beach. The beach is approximately
400 meters (440 yards) from the house.
Casa Maya Blu is at the first floor of a small
characteristic building in the style of the
coast of Amalfi. It has a large terrace decorated
by terracotta amphoras and pots. From this terrace
you will enjoy the view of the sky and the sea
right in front of you. If you look down you
will see the coast, green because of the lucid
leaves of the lemon trees that cover it, that
steeply declines toward the sea.
It is white and luminous. Casa Maya Blu is part
of a picturesque group of small houses, built
along the profile of the road and of the rocky
coast. To reach it from the main road, you only
have to climb approximately 20 steps. It has
been carefully renewed in 2006. From the main
entrance you will enter a very large room, divided
into a living room and a sleeping area by the
furniture.
In the sleeping area you will find a large double
bed and bathroom . The large bathroom has a
shower and is tiled with lucid hand-painted
majolica tiles. In the bathroom you will also
find a washing machine. The living room is equipped
with a divan bed for two sleeping place, a kitchenette
with a 4-burner cooker and oven, a refrigerator
with freezer, a comfortable table with chairs
and a television. The furnishing is elegant
and pleasant, cheered up by colored piece of
ceramics, hand-made . From the living room you
will be able to access the terrace, quite large
indeed, which is equipped with deck chairs,
tables and chairs. Part of the terrace is covered
by an umbrella, under which you will be able
to relax or dinner "al fresco".
Shops and restaurants are at approximately 200
meters (220 yards). The center of Praiano is
approximately 7/8 minutes by walking from the
house.
The apartment is equipped with one indoor parking
space at

The closest beach is the striking beach of Marina
di Praia, placed in a small valley dug by the
sea, where the emerald waters meet the high
rocks of the coast. During the summer there
are buses that from Praiano reach the beach
every 20 minutes, and that stop very close to
Casa Maya Blu.
People from Praiano usually go down to the beach
using a scalinatella that reaches an ancient
watch tower, and from there they take a charming
little street that descends to the sea in about
400 meters (440 yards). This street is cut in
the rocks, right on the sea. On their way back
they usually take the bus. Praiano is placed
halfway between Positano and Amalfi. From Praiano
you can easily reach the tourist centers on
the Amalfi Coast and the Sorrento Coast, as
well as Capri. You won't need a car: the bus
stop is just a few meters from the house.
Staying at Casa Maya Blu you will be able to
enjoy a vacation in a natural environment of
a splendid beauty, and you will also have a
base camp to visit Pompeii, Paestum, Naples
or the Royal Palace of Caserta. You will be
able to visit the famous beaches of the Amalfi
Coast and the characteristic artisans' shops,
as well as attend the many cultural and artistic
happenings that take place throughout the year.
For those who enjoy the night life there is
plenty to do: piano bars, night clubs, disco
and restaurants abund.
