This
lovely apartment of about 50 square meters (538
square feet) is located in the Historical centre
of Amalfi, just a few minutes from the Cathedral
and its famous square.
The sea, the bus stop and the beach are within
walking distance, only a few minutes away.
Apartment "Stefania" has been completely
restored in 2001 it is a typical Amalfitan house,
happy and pleasant: the floor is made of fabulous
hand-painted majolica (white and blue, decorated
with painted -flowers).
The cellings are hig and with characteristic
barrel vaults.
The apartment is on the second floor of an ancient
and elegant palace, owned by one of the historical
families of Amalfi. It can be reached entering
a courtyard and stairs (there is no elevator)
, from the main street of Amalfi ( the street
for shopping and promenades)., this is a delightful
base to discover the Amalfi Coast.
From
Amalfi you can reach in a short time many characteristic
towns and interesting archeological sites of
the area: Positano 15 km, Praiano 8 km., Ravello
5 km, Sorrento 30 km, connected by one of Europe
is most breathtaking roads, Pompei, Ercolano
and Naples 60 km. but also the islands of Capri
and Ischia.
The apartment is weel furnished , and is made
of.:
- a living room with antique family furniture
(armchairs , sofa and dining table): From the
living room you can access the two bedrooms
. The first one has a double bed, tv (Italian
chanel) and a delicious small bath , the second
one is quite small, and has one single bed and
second bed that fits under the first one and
can be extracted to sleep at night.
Both rooms have a balcony with panoramic view.
From the living room you will also be able to
enter in the little but furnished kitchen (
with fridge-freezer , 4 -burner stove, oven
hood fan, washing machine and iron)
-The second bathroom, decorated with flowered
majolica, like the first one , has the shower,
while the other one has no shower.
